Note: Hi! I'm Kandy K. This is my first fic so please be gentle. I don't like flames, but I will read them, maybe even respond, but I take constructive criticism. I've read many, many, many, (1 hour later…) many, many fan fics, so I think it should be ok. I'm dedicating this fic to The Amber Dragon Fly, who wrote the first fic I ever read, and inspired me to write! She even wrote a Kagome/Sessomaru Fic that I liked! So please take the time to enjoy my fav 2, As Fate Would Have it, and its sequel, It Must Be Destiny. But, without further ado, please read, review, and enjoy!
Disclaimer: Mario and The Legend of Zelda Belong to Nintendo, Not me ok? Ok. But there will be characters by me later. ;)
Summary: What happens when Ganondorf is finally gone for good? Will it be for better or for worse? What if it's not true? Preview: "HE CAN'T BE DEAD!" "I'm sorry, but he's gone." "HE WOULDN'T DIE LIKE THAT!" She then broke down sobbing. "If only I could have saved him!" she sobbed.

Chapter 1
The Storm
It was a dark, cloudy night, the darkest night anyone had ever seen. Everyone in Hyrule had locked and secured their windows and doors for the storm that was to come, except for two people. Those two alone had much, much more to deal with, for the fate of Hyrule was in their hands. “Ganondorf shall die this time, I will not rest until he does!” shouted Princess Zelda with rage and hatred evident in her voice. “He hurt us all, and he'll pay, I promise you, Zelda.” Link said, calmly, but it was clear he felt the same as Zelda. “Link, you do realize that either we die or he dies .” “I do Zelda, and he will be the one who dies!” Link said. Zelda turned to Link and as he turned she stared into his blue-grey eyes, as if searching him for lies. In turn he stared into her lavender ones. Without breaking eye contact, Zelda said “Link, I want you to keep this…” She took his hand (as Link blushed) and placed the Orcanica of Time in his hand. They kept their hands like that for a while, still gazing into each others eyes. Link broke out of his daze then asked “Zelda, are you sure? This is a royal family heirloom.” “I know it is, but I trust you Link. Besides, it's not like you haven't had it before.” Zelda said, remembering when they were 7 and 8. “You might need it.” Link nodded his thanks, then played Epona's Song. A few moments later Epona came running to them. “Are you ok about riding bare back?” Link asked. “Um, I'm fine…” Zelda answered. Link just shrugged, and helped Zelda on Epona. “You better hold on tight.” “Huh? Oh…” Zelda blushed as she put her hands on Link's waist. Link chuckled as he thought `She must not know...' “What's so funniiiiiiiiieeee!?” Zelda screamed when she almost flew off. She was holding on to Link so tight that he could pop any moment. “Zel...da?” “Y-Yeah…” “I…can't…breathe…” Link choked out. “Oh!” She loosened her grip a little. “Sorry...” she said, embarrassed. “It's ok, its natural.” he said grinning. `she's still holding on tight, ha! My plan worked!' Zelda didn't even realize that she had laid her head on Link's back. Link was really enjoying it and was grinning like a fool now. `Wow! It's all so beautiful! Arg! I'm such an idiot! Why did I wear my royal gown?!' “idiot…” “Huh?” “Nothing Link!” `I said that out loud!' They had been riding for a few hours now, and Epona was getting tired, so they stopped to rest. Zelda was still holding on to Link, still mentally kicking herself, and Link was still grinning like an idiot. Epona looked at them and shook her head. She nayed (don't hurt me if it's spelled wrong.) and broke them both out of their “trance”. Link got off and helped Zelda down. Epona went to drink some water and graze. Link and Zelda sat under a tree. “Zelda, did you see where he was?” “Yes.” “Do you know how to get there?” “Again yes.” Zelda answered, a bit annoyed. “Well, where was he?” Link asked, completely oblivious to Zelda's annoyance. “I told you! Inside the volcano!” Zelda was very annoyed now. `I told him all this already!' “Well, excuse me-” “DON'T SAY IT!” Zelda was beyond annoyed. `Just back away slowly Link, back away from angry Zelda' Link thought. `Jeez, I can fight Ganondorf, break the time barrier, and survive lava, but I'm afraid of Zelda! And to think I'm the Hero of Hyrule, and I'm afraid of the princess!' “N-now Zel-” “DON'T YOU `NOW ZEL' ME!” Zelda yelled. Link was still backing away, faster now the Zelda was approaching him. “Uh, umm, ha ha… Don't you want to-Ahhh!” Link yelled as he fell backwards into the river. “Link!” Zelda's mood made a complete U-turn from anger to concern and fear. “Zel-da Hel-lp!” Link's words were gargled with the water. Zelda knew Link was a good swimmer but the current was way too strong! “I'm coming Link!” Zelda yelled throwing off her tiara and diving into the ice cold water. Zelda got to Link in a second and grabbed him, she then teleported them out of the water. Link was coughing his lungs out while Zelda was wringing out his hat, which he was somehow able to hold onto. “Link, I'm so sorry, it was my fault you fell in, I'm so sorry…” Zelda said while placing his hat on his head. Zelda used Din's fire to dry Link off. She made it a warm glow around Link. “Zelda, if it weren't for you I would still be freezing, and I'd probably be-” “Don't say it! *sniff* Please, don't say it.” Silent tears were rolling down Zelda's cheeks. `Link can't die, I almost killed him!' “Zelda, please don't cry, look I'm here, I'm ok-” “But you could've not been! It would be my fault!” Zelda was sniffling, trying to stop crying, but as thoughts kept coming, she cried harder. “Link, it would destroy me if you died, and if I was the one who killed you… I'd die.” Apparently Zelda didn't know she was saying that out loud, Link was stunned. `She would die? Why? Why? Does she-? No, she could never, could she?' Zelda was shivering, she hadn't dried herself off. “Zelda…” But Link couldn't find the words. Zelda sniffed some more, she had calmed down quite a bit. “Yeah?” “Zelda, you're soaking wet! You must be freezing!” “Oh.” Zelda said a bit disappointed. As the warm glow surrounded Zelda, she thought `Why am I disappointed?! What else would he say?!' “Well, Zelda, why don't we camp here tonight?” Link asked after yawning. “Link! The storm! Ganondorf!” Zelda spluttered out. “Zelda, you can stop the storm and Ganon doesn't know we're coming.” Link said sitting down. “You say it like stopping a huge storm that could start a flood is easy.” Zelda replied. “Please Zelda, one, the storm's coming fast, and two, I know you can do it.” he said, picking up her tiara and replacing it on her head. `He really thinks I can do it.' The storm was now right above them, thunder booming and lighting flashes. Zelda nodded and turned away, she walked up the hill. Link and Epona got down on the ground as the rain started pouring down. A bolt of lighting was headed for Zelda, but it seemed so slow. “Zelda!” But Zelda knew, she shot her own bolt of electricity at it and sparks of blue and white erupted from where they met, before the lightning disappeared into Zelda. “Oh my God.” Link said to himself. `She's absorbing the lightning!' Link thought as Zelda sent a huge amount of Din's fire into the clouds, burning a huge hole in the storm. Thunder echoed as if a cry of pain. Zelda continued using Din's fire while fighting off the lightning, sending it in a different direction. Link watched in amazement as the storm disappeared before his eyes. Zelda used the last of her energy to create a huge ball of Din's fire, she sent it up and redirected lightning to it. It exploded in a huge blast of flames and sparks, demolishing the last of the storm. Zelda smiled a weak smile at Link who smiled back, then collapsed. “Zelda!” Link yelled as he got up and ran to her, slipping on the now soaked and muddy ground. “Zelda?” Link asked again. Her dress was muddy and scorched from where the sparks had hit her. Her gloves were soaked with mud and her hair was no better with clumps of mud here and there. Some of her skin was burned and they were both soaking wet. Again. “Epona!” Link yelled for her to come over. Epona knew that it was urgent so she ran her fastest. “We have to get her to the doctor at the lake!” Link told her. Epona knelt down as Link gently placed Zelda on Epona, as if she would break at any second. He then climbed onto her, behind Zelda so he could hold her in one arm. Epona then ran off at breakneck speed.

Chapter 2
The Dream
Link was pacing. He hated pacing and people who paced! (Guess he hates himself XD) But he couldn't help it. He was worried, about Zelda. `What's taking so long?! It's been hours! I can't take this anymore...'Just as Link was about to barge through the doors, they opened, hitting him right in the jaw, and sending him to the floor. “Oh! I'm so sorry Link…” The doctor said helping Link up. “I could fix your ja-” but he was interrupted by Link pushing past him to get to Zelda. He felt like someone had sliced him open when he saw Zelda bandaged up and the look of pain upon her face. “Zelda…” Link said sadly. He went to sit beside her and he took her hand. Her pulse was a little to slow for his liking. When the doctor came in Link asked “Why is her pulse so slow?! Why didn't you just use a healing potion?!” “Link!” the doc said quieting Link. “Her pulse is slow because she's unconscious and you know how little red and blue potion there is now.” It was true. The herbs to make any potion that could heal had mysteriously died. Link knew Ganondorf was behind it all. “Zelda…” Link said again, completely forgetting about the lake doctor still in the room. “I'll just leave…” The doctor said grinning. “Zelda, I'm so sorry…” Link started. “It's my fault you're like this. I had no idea this would happen. I made you stop it. I'm supposed to be the hero of Hyrule, but I might as well have just killed you. Zelda please wake up.” Link said, unaware that Zelda was dying right there, but Zelda didn't know either… (Thank my friend Rick for this part. We were playing Super Smash Bros. Melee and he gave me the idea.)
KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
“Where am I?” Zelda said, sitting in an area where a building once was. “You are in the ruins of Hyrule Castle.” Said… Zelda? There, walking straight to Zelda was…Zelda? At least she or he looked like Zelda except for her royal gown being blue. “W-who are y-you?” Zelda asked, really freaked out.” I'm your clone.” said the Zelda clone. “And I need a clone, why?” Zelda asked. “You don't.” said the clone trying to kick Zelda, but she dodged. “Why-are-you-a-tack-ing-me?” Zelda asked, dodging and blocking punches and kicks. “I have to wake you up before you die.” “WHAT?!?!” Zelda screamed, knocking the clone back from surprise. “Let me explain, and don't do that again.” the clone said rubbing her…his…whatever ears. “Sorry...” Zelda said embarrassed. They both sat down. I'm your clone created by Bowser to-” “Who the heck is Bowser?” Zelda said cutting the clone off. “Umm…He's the Ganondorf of Mushroom Kingdom.” “Mushroom Kingdom?” “You will make friends there in the future.” “Umm…ok…” Zelda said. “Anyway, created by Bowser to-” “Wait!” “What?!” “Are you a boy or girl?” “Girl” “What's your name?” “I don't have one” the clone answered. “Well you have to have a name!” Zelda argued. “I'll pick one later” she answered, somewhat annoyed. “But-” Zelda started. “Just listen! Anyway, I was created by Bowser to become part of his evil army, but I ended up not being evil, I'm just pretending. I will come by in your dreams to help you out, but that's the only time you will actually see me. But you have to wake up before everything starts to go black, but I have to throw you off the edge for you to wake up.” She said while grabbing Zelda. “Wait what?! Hey!”
Link felt Zelda's pulse quicken and looked at her worried.
Zelda screamed as she was thrown of a cliff.
Zelda sat up, but then winced from the pain. “Zelda?” Link said in a relived, but worried voice. “What's wrong?” he asked when he saw the odd look on her face. “Dream.” She said looking around then lying back down. She looked at Link and saw that his jaw was bleeding. “Link!” Zelda said, concerned. Link had just realized how much it hurt and brought his hand up to it. “Don't worry, I'm fine.” Link said. “Does it hurt?” Zelda asked. “No.” Link lied. But Zelda knew he was lying. “Maybe a little…” Link said under Zelda's glare. “Mmmhmm, sure Link.” Zelda said, knowing it hurt more than `a little.' She moved his hand and started examining his jaw, running her fingers on his face. Link flinched from the pain, but enjoyed Zelda running her fingers on his face. “Well, it's not broken… how did this happen?” “Door.” Link answered. “Oh.” Zelda said knowingly. She grabbed a cotton ball and a bottle of alcohol and put alcohol on the cotton. “If it burns, it's working.” She said dabbing at Link's chin and cheek with the cotton ball. “It's not-OW!” `God that burns!' Link thought. Zelda laughed “Told ya.” She then took some bandages and fixed up Link's jaw. Zelda tried to stand but winced from the pain and fell into Link, who caught her. He was holding her waist and her head was in his chest. “Are you ok?” Link asked concerned as Zelda slowly looked up at him. She was blushing. “Y-yeah.” Link thanked the doctor, who had reentered the room when he heard Link's loud `ow', then picked Zelda up and held her bridal style. “Link? What are you-?” “You can't walk. I'm carrying you.” Link answered her unfinished question. He carried her to Epona and placed her sidesaddle on her. Link climbed on then and placed an arm around Zelda, ignoring how much they both were blushing. Zelda put her arms around Link, still afraid of flying off.
KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
By the time Epona had gotten tired again, which wasn't a very long this time, Link and Zelda were as red as tomatoes. Link carried Zelda and set her down by the river. Zelda had taken off her shoes to soak her feet in the river. Zelda moaned as the ice water hit her burns. “Mmmmmmm” Link was setting up the tent that he had in Epona's bag. He took out a quilt and put it at the bottom of the tent. He picked Zelda up and put her in the tent. He went and sat outside of the tent. Epona had already fallen asleep. “Link? Aren't you going to sleep in here?” Zelda blushed as she thought about her and Link sleeping next to each other. “You must be freezing.” Link blushed. “Umm, I j-just uhhh… heh…” Link turned even redder. “Yeah?” Link gulped. “I j-just don't t-trust myself with y-you like that…” Link turned really red as certain thoughts ran through his mind. Zelda turned red. “Oh, well L-link you know I wouldn't let THAT happen.” “Yeah, but-” Link started but was cut off by Zelda. “If you don't come in here than I'm coming out there so you can have the tent.” “No! Zelda, you'll get sick.” “And you won't why?” Zelda asked. Link sighed in defeat and crawled into the tent next to Zelda. Zelda fell asleep quickly after that. She snuggled up against Link. Link sub-consciously put his arm around Zelda and fell asleep.

Sorry it's short, but it is 3:30 A.M. here, and I may be a night owl, but Shada, my kitten, will kill me if I sleep all day tomorrow. So, Night, er, Morning!

Chapter 3
The Final Showdown
Zelda was the first to wake up. She felt something strong holding her. But it wasn't strong hurting her, it was strong protective. She felt muscles when she touched it. She liked the fell of being protected. She decided to open her eyes to see what it was. It was an arm. Link's arm. She realized she was snuggled against him. She blushed, and even though she liked it, she tried to get out of his grip. But her attempt failed, she couldn't get out of his strong grip. She rolled over and watched his sleeping form. “Zelda…” He said peacefully in his sleep, as he pulled her closer. Zelda blushed as she thought `He's dreaming about me? Oh wow I'm close to him!' Her hands were now up against his chest, rising and falling slowly. She could feel his muscles through his tunic. “Wow…” she whispered to herself. `Oh my god. He's so fit! Well what do I expect, he been fighting for Hyrule since he was 7.' She was barely able to keep herself from moving her hands around his chest to feel his muscles more. As her eyes started to close for her to go back to sleep, Link yawned, he was waking up. “Mmmmm…” Link slow opened his eyes to the face of a sleeping Zelda. His arm was around her waist and her hands on his chest. Link blushed, as he thought `I must have pulled Zel this close when we where sleeping. Wow, she looks so beautiful, so peaceful…' Link got lost staring at Zelda's sleeping form, only broken when Zelda snuggled up closer and put her head in Link's chest. Link blushed, but he felt so at peace. He brought his hand up without thinking and moved her hair out of her face. He stroked her hair softly, enjoying its silky feel; the doctor must have cleaned her hair. “Oh Link…” Zelda said peacefully and maybe a bit lovingly. (awwww…) `Is she dreaming about me?' Link thought. Link got lost again. He was leaning in closer. `What?! What am I doing?!' Link thought franticly as he tried to stop himself. It was no use, he couldn't stop. Link's face was only inches away when Zelda started to wake up from his hot breath on her face. `Aw crap!' Link thought for he still didn't have control. But as Zelda's lavender eyes fluttered open, he was able to pull away. She yawned. “Morning.” Zelda said. “Morning…” Link replied, still fairly flustered about what he almost did. Zelda realized she was still holding Link and blushed as she sat up. But again she winced, she had forgotten all about her injuries. Link slapped himself, causing him a great deal of pain because of his jaw. “You idiot, why'd you do that?” Zelda asked, slowly laying herself back down. “I have one bottle of red potion!” Link yelled, happy that he remembered. He ran out of the tent, but came back in a few seconds with a bottle of red potion in his hand. “Link you have to do it, it'll never get done if I try.” Zelda told him. “Umm, ok.” Link replied. “Sorry Zelda, this is going to hurt.” Link said as he unwrapped her bandages on her left arm. Zelda flinched; the bandages were rubbing against her burns. Link had the entire bandage off. He saw how raw the burn was. `Zel, this is really going to hurt you…' He thought as he put his fingers in the jar. He rubbed his medicine soaked fingers on Zelda's wound. Zelda bit her lip to keep from yelling it hurt so badly. But Link was being very tender, gentle, so it wouldn't hurt as much. Link blushed when he got to the one her stomach. This one was really bad; it burned a hole in her dress. He knew she wouldn't be able to do this one herself if she tried. “Umm… Zelda…” Zelda slowly opened her eyes as some of the pain subsided. “Uhh…huh?” “How am I supposed to get the one on your stomach?” Link asked. Zelda blushed when she realized how. She put her hands to the back of her dress; she started to pull down the zipper. Link blushed too, as he looked away. Zelda was mentally kicking herself again. She can't wear a corset with her dress; it would show through the thin fabric on her stomach. Zelda was really red when she had pulled down the top of her dress. She only had a bra on. Link took care to only look at her stomach. Zelda had her eyes closed and was biting her lip again. Link gasped. The burn on Zelda's stomach was infected! When the pain subsided she asked Link “What is it?” “Zelda, your stomach, your burn is infected!” Link replied. Zelda realized now why it was stinging. “I think, if I put enough, it should be ok, but…” “What?!” Zelda asked. “Zelda, brace yourself, it's gonna hurt like he-” “Watch your mouth!” Zelda interrupted him. “Sorry.” Link said. Link offered her his hand; she look confused for a moment, but then realized what he was doing. “Link, I don't want to hurt you…” Zelda started. “Don't worry, besides, if you pull the bottom of the tent any more, it'll collapse.” Link laughed. Zelda took Link's hand then closed her eyes and bit her lip. Link had to rub it in carefully; he didn't want to hurt Zelda any more then he had to. Link's hand felt like 100 tons hand been put on it; Zelda had a really tight grip! This burn had hurt more than all of her burn combined. She couldn't hold it in any longer as tears sprang to her eyes from the pain. She was whimpering by the time Link was finished. Link was rubbing her now healed arm. They blushed again when he got to her legs. Zelda was holding her dress down as Link rubbed it on her legs. The only burn that didn't heal so quickly was the one on her stomach. Zelda crawled out of the tent and stretched. She saw apples in a tree and teleported into it. She threw some apples down to Epona who happily ate them. She took three and teleported to the side of the river. She had just gotten done cleaning an apple when Link came out of the tent. “Link!” Link turned and saw an apple coming at him. He caught it before it hit him in the face. “Thanks.” He said as he sat down be side her. She washed another and started eating it. Link packed up the tent as Zelda got more apples. Epona kneeled down and they both got on. Zelda was behind Link again, holding on to him with her head on his back. “Pace yourself Epona, we have a long ride.” Link said and Epona slowed down a bit. Link was warm and Zelda was comfortable from it. She slowly closed her eyes and fell asleep.
KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
“Zelda, is this…” Link started, as he turned his head. He saw Zelda was sleeping, and smiled. “Hey, Zelda, wake up…” Link whispered as he gently nudged her. “H-huh?” She asked as she rubbed her eyes. “Is this the place?” Link asked. She looked around until she could see clearly. She closed her eyes and thought. She saw flashes of lava, heard Ganondorf laughing, explosions, screaming, and last saw the huge volcano. She opened her eyes, breathing heavily. “Y-yeah…” She breathed out. So they continued through.
Link and Zelda were staring down into the volcano. “And how did he get inside it? Link asked. “Like this.” Zelda said as she grabbed Link's hand and teleported. When Link and Zelda reappeared, it was hot. VERY HOT. Link looked around then looked at Zelda. “How did you-?” “I had to hide here for a while before my Sheik disguise.” Zelda told him. “Ah, I remember that.” Link said. Zelda and Link continued on, when their Triforces started glowing. Zelda saw a flash of Ganondorf looking at his glowing Triforce. She looked at Link. “He knows we're here!” She told him. Link grabbed Zelda's hand and started looking around. Suddenly, the rock below them started to crumble and fall. Link took out his Longshot. “NO! It'll make it worse!” Zelda yelled at him. Zelda teleported, concentrating hard on to find a safe place in the volcano. They reappeared at a different spot in the volcano. Lava was falling like a waterfall would. (Wouldn't that make it a Lavafall?) Zelda was holding her head, leaning against Link. “Are you ok?” Link asked her. “That was a blind teleport, do you know how hard that is when you need to be in a specific place?!” “Sorry.” Link remembered he had a bottle of green potion! Link pulled half a bottle of green potion out of sack. `Some must have spilled when I fell in the river' He thought as he handed it to Zelda. Zelda drank it and felt refreshed. “Thank you.” She said as they walked on, following the pull from their Triforces.
KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
The moment they walked into a different chamber, Ganondorf grabbed Zelda and started laughing. Zelda swept her leg back and kicked him hard in the knee, making him let go. “Why you-” Ganon started before a kick in the face from Zelda. His nose was bleeding. (High Heels Hurt! Ha! Try saying that 5 times fast!) Link had unsheathed his sword and was standing ready for battle. Ganon however, was throwing a ball of dark energy at Zelda, who quickly teleported out of the way. Link took this opportunity to try to attack Ganon but he saw it and was able to bring up his sword just in time to block. Zelda reappeared behind Ganon and electrocuted him with a shove. He recovered and flipped backwards, over Zelda, and landed an energized punch to her back, right in the nerve! “Ah!” Zelda screamed naturally as she started to fall over. She felt numb and couldn't stop herself from falling, until Link caught her. She got feeling back quickly. Link started sword fighting again. He started to shoot an arrow when Ganondorf knocked his bow and the arrow he was holding away. Zelda reacted immediately. She grabbed the bow and arrow, which she turned into a light arrow, and shot it at Ganondorf. He yelled in pain and fell on his knees, stunned. “Link, you're quiver!” Zelda shouted at him. He took it off his back and threw it to Zelda. He started attacking Ganondorf's stunned body, starting to break off the armor. Ganon started coming back to his senses. He turned into his giant boar form and started to charge at Link. Zelda got three Light arrows out and shot them all at once stopping Ganon in his tracks and turning him back into a human.(If you can call him human.) This time Zelda used Din's Fire on him. It worked, but it also woke him up. Suddenly, Ganondorf was everywhere. `He multiplied!' Both Link and Zelda thought as Ganon's laughter echoed around. Link took out his boomerang and it went through all the Ganondorf's. Link was puzzled while Zelda shot a fire arrow into a shadow. A yell of pain echoed out as Ganondorf fell and hit the ground, hard. Link went in for a jump slash. “Hiyaaa!” Link yelled as he pierced Ganon's heart. But they knew it wasn't over. Ganon was extremely angry. Ganondorf turned into his Giant Boar form again.
Meanwhile…
“Peach, why are we going to another Kingdom? And a Volcano?” Daisy asked her best friend, Peach. Peach and Daisy were looking down into a volcano. “Don't tell me you don't feel like something is going on?” Peach asked. “Well, yeah, but-” “Princesses instinct! Another princess is in trouble and I'm not just going to sit around!” Peach cut her off. Peach ran down a path that led into the volcano. Daisy sighed in defeat and followed as she said to herself “I hate it when she gets like this.”
When they got inside, they found the rock had crumbled in some places; it looked like there was an avalanche. They carefully made their way through some other “chambers” until they heard sounds of a fight, a BIG fight. They ran through as the sounds got louder. They heard roars, sword slashes, explosions, well a lot. They stood in shock as they watched a man in a green tunic with singes jumping out of the way of a giant boar, while a princess in a ripped and burnt gown was trying franticly to shoot the boar with…glowing arrows? They continued to let their eyes wander; they saw the other half of the princess's skirt. But their eyes were drawn back to the battle when they saw the man throw his sword to the princess.
Zelda caught Link's sword. She put a light arrow on each side of it as she got ready to shoot it. She was swept into a vision of Link falling off of the cliff, where the lava was. “Link!” She yelled, only to get charged by Ganon as she shot her arrow, luckily into his heart. She was thrown against the rock wall of the volcano, but before she became unconscious she gave her last bit of power as she whispered “Link…” “ZELDA!” Link yelled as he started to run over to her. But Ganondorf had some power left in him, and with that power he charged up a dark punch and hit Link with it. That threw Link off the cliff. Ganondorf then collapsed.
Peach and Daisy were staring with their mouths wide open. They had just seen two men, one evil, one good, and possibly a princess get killed. They finally woke up as Peach ran over to Zelda, and Daisy was taking Link's sword out of Ganondorf's chest. “Peach, call Mario, he's a doctor!” “Yes!” Peach said as she concentrated on Mario. “Mario, we need you here, NOW!”

Note: *Hides behind desk* Please don't kill me! Don't worry, my friend, Rick, gave me part of the idea, I just did the rest. Amazing what you can think of when playing video games… Oh! I just remembered! At the start of every chapter, I'm going to try to have a quote, joke, or riddle. Alright, en-*is hit on the head with frying pan*

Chapter 4
Hidden Love
After Mario and Luigi found Peach and Daisy, Mario made sure she would be ok long enough to find a hospital. They left the volcano, Mario and Luigi carrying Zelda. “Whata did ya say her name was?” Mario asked Peach. “We heard the man call her Zelda.” Peach replied. “And she called him Link.” Daisy said. As they walked on, they saw a woman with long red hair driving a carriage. “Hello! Could you help us?” Peach asked. “Well, sure! What is…it…?” She trailed off when she saw Zelda. “Princess…” She whispered. “Princess!” She said as she jumped out of the carriage. “We need your help to find a doctor.” Daisy told her. “Lake Hylia isn't to far from here, there's a doctor there. She got into the back of the carriage and moved some things around. “It's small, but it should do until we get to Lake Hylia.” She said as she motioned to the back of the carriage. She took Zelda and laid her across the bench in the front. “I'm Malon by the way, who are you?” Malon asked. “I'm Peach; this is Daisy, Luigi, and my husband, Mario.” Peach motioned to each person as she said their name. “Where are you from? You can't be from around here.” Malon asked. “Peach and I rule Mushroom Kingdom together.” Daisy told her. “We're best friends.” Peach said. “Why don't you rule with your husbands?” Malon asked. “Um, they never really were, `king' material…” Daisy said while looking over at Mario and Luigi who were laughing hysterically about something. Malon sweat dropped saying “Uh huh…” After the guys were done laughing, Malon asked “How did this happen to our Princess. Peach and Daisy suddenly looked sad. Mario and Luigi also wanted to know. “Well, Peach brought us here on vacation…” Daisy started.
KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
“…then his arm was glowing purple and he punched him, after that he collapsed. But…” Peach couldn't go on. “But… the man, he fell off the ledge… into the lava… we think his name was Link.” Daisy finished. After hearing this, the carriage stopped dead. “L-link? H-he's… he's… g-gone?” she asked. `Oh no, she knew him…' Peach and Daisy thought. “Mmm hmm…” was all they could get out. All seemed sad, even the horse looked sad. “What's Hyrule going to do now?” Malon whispered. The carriage started moving again, but everything still seemed sad. It seemed as if a decade had passed when they finally got to the doctor, for no one had spoken since the subject on Link came up. Malon went and knocked on the door. Then a very grumpy doctor came. What?! What is it? Do you have any idea what time it is? You don't look hurt!” Malon motioned toward Zelda who was still unconscious on the bench. He gasped, but under his breath he said “oh, again…”
“She's not in the best shape, her left arm is broken, right leg broken, and a few ribs too. Mind explaining how this happened?” Peach and Daisy sighed. `Here we go again…' they thought as they retold the story to the doctor. When they were done he was standing there, mouth hanging open, staring at them in disbelief. Luigi waved a hand in front of his face and woke him out of his daze. “What?! This is just a joke! A HORRIBLE JOKE! Right?! What is Hyrule going to do?!...” Malon pushed him out as he continued his outrage. Everyone else sweat dropped. They all walked to the bed where Zelda was laying.
Zelda heard voices. Voices of people she never heard before. The first one was very…um, airy and dainty. Defiantly a woman's. Two were Italian, and extremely hard to tell apart. Those two belonged to men. The last one was also a woman's. But it was a bit, `sportier' than the other. “Do you think she'll be ok?” the first woman asked. “I hope so.” One of the men said. Zelda realized that her arm and leg hurt, her ribs too, well EVERYTHING hurt. She groaned in pain and annoyance as she realized someone must have taken her to a doctor. She opened her eyes and saw four people looking at her. The men were wearing overalls and a red and green shirt with a cap to match. They were, well, short and both had a mustache. On her other side, there were two women. One had on a pink dress and her blonde hair up in a ponytail. The other had a yellow dress, similar in style, and had her brown hair resting on her shoulders. Both had crowns on top of their heads. `Princesses?' Zelda thought. “Are you ok?” the man with the green cap asked. “We were worried.” Both of the princesses said. Zelda nodded then asked “Not to be rude, but who are you, do I know you?” “Oh sorry, I'm Peach.” The woman in pink said. “I'm Daisy.” The other woman said. “I'm Luigi.” The man with the green cap said. “I'm Mario.” The man with the red cap said. “I'm Zelda, did you all take me here” Zelda asked. “Well, we had some help from a lady named Malon.” Daisy said. “Malon…” Zelda said to herself. Hearing her name made Zelda think of Link. Zelda gasped. “Where's Link?!” She asked just as Malon and the doctor reentered the room. “Where is he?!” she asked again, making to get up. But, alas, her attempt failed because of her broken leg. Everyone looked sad. Everyone left except Peach and Daisy. “I'll go get it.” Daisy said before going out the door. “What's going on?” Zelda asked. Peach sighed, not wanting to tell Zelda the truth. “H-h-he…” Peach sighed again. “I'm so sorry, but he's gone…” Peach said. “G-gone…you d-don't mean…” Peach nodded as Daisy walked in. “We saw him fall over the ledge ourselves…this is all that's left.” Daisy said sadly as she handed Zelda a sword that had been wiped off, but there was still blood on it. “Zelda stared at her messy reflection in the sword, the look of disbelief etched on her face. “He…he's dead.” Peach said facing the floor. “Dead? Link. D-dead?” Zelda asked no one. "HE CAN'T BE DEAD!" "I'm sorry, but he's gone." "HE WOULDN'T DIE LIKE THAT!" She then broke down sobbing. "If only I could have saved him!" she sobbed. Peach and Daisy went over to comfort her. “We also found this…” Daisy said as she handed Zelda a green hat. “P-please…j-just leave…” Zelda choked out staring at the hat. They nodded and left. Zelda continued to sob uncontrollably. With each sob, if felt like her heart was being crushed. Zelda hated not being with Link, but she always knew he'd be back. Now, she knew she'd never get to see his face again. Never get to hear him say her name, or play the orcanica. Never anything anymore. She felt like a part of her was missing. “Why do I feel like this?” she asked her self after she got control. Tears were still running down her face and she was sniffling. `Without Link, I feel incomplete. There's only one answer…' “I love him…” Zelda said in realization. “I love Link, and he won't ever know it…” she said as she started crying into his hat. “I know it now.” Someone said. Zelda looked up from the hat, still crying, to see none other than Link. Zelda stared at him. “L-link?” Zelda asked, not believing what she saw. Link nodded. “Link!” Zelda yelled as she got up but, yelped in pain and started to fall before Link caught her. He took her to the bed and sat down with her. She cried into his chest as he rubbed her back. “L-link, I th-thought y-you were g-g-gone…” she cried. “She soon calmed down but silent tears of joy were running down her cheeks. “How? How are you here?” Zelda asked. Link shrugged. “All I know is that I was wishing I could teleport like you, and then I just ended up in my house. I had teleported. Then, I just wanted to be where you were, and here I am.” Link smiled as he said this. Zelda gasped as she remembered. “I gave the last of my power to you before I was knocked out. It was enough for two teleports.” Zelda told him as a few more tears fell down her face. Link wiped away her tears then cupped her face in his hands. “Did you mean that?” Link asked. Zelda was confused. “Mean what?” she asked. “Did you mean that you love me?” Link asked. Zelda blushed. “Y-yes.” She said. Link blushed too as he said “I…I love you, too.” He then brought his hand under her chin and pulled her face to his as he leaned in closer. Zelda brought her uninjured arm around Link's neck as their lips met. Link put his other arm around Zelda's waist. Link nibbled Zelda's lip, asking for entrance, which she gave him. Their tongues wandered each other's mouths, exploring every bit. Malon walked in, unnoticed by the two who continued kissing. Her mouth was hanging open from shock, Link was supposed to be dead. Then, she turned red, seeing what was going on. “I'll just leave you two alone…” She said as she left, still unnoticed by the two. They finally stopped for air, looking into each other's eyes. “I love you, Zelda.” The words Zelda loved and always wanted to hear from Link. “I love you, too.” She said as she rested her head against his chest. Link's arms wrapped around her waist and they just stayed in each other's embrace. They both felt complete.

Note: So what do ya think? I'm not so evil that I'd kill off Link! Jeez, some people… *Dodges tomato* Missed Me! *Hit over head with mallet* *Cheers for fanficmaster* Thank you! Don't forget to review!
Don't say “I love you” unless you mean it.
But, if you do mean it, say it a lot, people forget.

Chapter 5
The Missing Link
Link and Zelda stayed like that all night and Link realized that when he woke up the next morning. He opened his eyes to a sleeping Zelda, a peaceful smile on her face. Link smiled too, as he moved her hair out of her face. Zelda yawned as her eyes fluttered open. She snuggled up against Link and said “Good Morning…” “Good Morning” Link replied, kissing her on her forehead. “Zel?” Link asked. “Zelda giggled at Link's nickname for her, and then asked “Yes?” “What are we going to do about your father?” Link asked. That's when it hit Zelda. Link wasn't a suitor! She wouldn't be aloud any real relationship with him. Zelda sighed out of frustration and sadness. “I don't know. We could try to hide it, but what good would that do us? Father would find out…” Zelda replied, saddened by it all. “We should talk to Impa about it.” Link said. “Don't worry.” He said as he gave her a tender kiss on the lips. Zelda only nodded, but when she looked at Link, she only just realized how injured he was. He had scratches and bruises all over, he had burns, dark red spots all on his tunic, and an extremely large gash in his side that had torn through his tunic. “Link! I'll get help!” Zelda said, but as she was about to get up, Link cleared his throat. She looked at him, he then pointed down to her leg and she blushed. “Umm…I kinda forgot about that…heh heh.” Link grinned and shook his head. But he really couldn't say anything, he had forgot all about his injuries too, which were tired of being forgotten and were now causing almost an unbearable pain. Link's smile quickly turned to a frown because of the pain. He groaned in pain as he started to get up, but Zelda stopped him. “Link, I don't think you can walk either. Please, just lay down, and let me get help.” Zelda said. “But Zel-” Link started, but Zelda silenced him by putting a finger to his lips. She then said. “Please Link. I'll find a way.” Link smiled and nodded as he laid himself down. Zelda propped her self up, with some difficulty. She then looked around the room, looking for a cane, or something of the sort. Seeing nothing she sighed. `Looks like I'll have to do this the hard way.' She thought. Zelda tried to remember what the next room looks like. She saw a little when Link was carrying her. She then teleported into the room.
When she got in she fell against a wall. `Dang, wrong room!' She thought when she saw no one around. She heard voices in the next room but had no idea what it looked like, and the pain she was feeling increased. She muttered curses under her breath, as she looked around the room. Still seeing nothing like a cane, she tried to make her way to the next room, not wanting to risk teleporting. She leaned against the wall more as she attempted to hop, but fell flat on her face. Zelda bit her lip to keep quiet. `Din! That Hurt!' She thought. She looked up at the door. “Damn it all…” She said to herself.
But Peach heard the loud thump in the next room, and she went to check it out. Peach walked in, followed by Daisy, and saw Zelda on the floor. “Zelda! You're supposed to be in bed!” she scolded her as she and Daisy helped her up. “Please, you've got to help Link!” Zelda said, as she leaned on the two girls. “Link? But he's-” Daisy started but was interrupted by Zelda. “He's not! I saved him.” Peach and Daisy looked at each other, thinking Zelda just thought she saw Link. “Now, hun, we know you miss him, but he couldn't have survived…” Daisy started. “Yes, we saw him fall… Zelda, he's not with us anymore.” Peach finished with a sad look on her face. “No, he's alive! Just let me show you!” Zelda yelled. `Why don't they believe me?' She thought. “Hun, just let us take you to your room.” Daisy said. Zelda nodded, since she knew that's where Link was. “Malon just went to check on you, but your not there, so why isn't she back?” Peach asked. “She must have seen Link! He's hurt, terribly…” Zelda said, saddened when she thought about the pain Link must be going through. Peach and Daisy sighed, there was no getting the idea out of Zelda's head.
Malon was walking through the halls, trying to find Zelda. She wasn't in her room, and she was worried. Just then, Peach, Daisy, and Zelda, turned the corner. “There you are! You scared me half to death, Zelda!” Malon told her as she opened the door to Zelda's room. Zelda apologized and looked around the room. `Where's Link?!' She thought franticly, as the girls sat her down on the bed. She looked over to her nightstand. Link's hat was gone, as well as his sword! `No…' Zelda thought. “He wouldn't….he couldn't…” Zelda whispered to herself. The girls were really worried now. Finally, Zelda looked over to the window. It was open. “How could he leave like that?!” Zelda asked no one in particular. “That window wasn't open this morning…” Daisy said. “It was when I came in.” Malon said. They all looked to Zelda, who was still staring at the window. Peach looked over to where Link's things had rested for the night. They weren't there. “He really was here, wasn't he?” Peach asked as she looked back to Zelda.
