Gone Fishing by Demanding Urge
What's that? a natural gas leak? sound the alarm, evacuate the area for blocks around! abd all the workers run away and drink many beers at a local pub. but nobody told the barefoot girls looking for a scavenger item- a solid gold goldfish hidden on the factory grounds. Bethany wanders in the yard near a large silo with dow corning decals on it. she she walks near it to search the base of the cylinder, she finds the ground has a layer of tranparent silicone cement which has leaked from the silo. she didn't see it, and now as her foot soles are engulfed by thick gooey mucus like pseudopods, a vinagary smell makes her head spin softly. her feet do an eggbeater rapid alternation of hard jerks, but the tacky silicone cement has now crept up between her toes and half way up the sides of her feet. The red haired girl sees her toes covered, all her struggles have helped distribute the glue better. a slight milky craze touches the stirred up area her feet are stuck in. the girls grasps her calves and yanks mightily, but the tough rubbery stretchiness can not be escaped. She looks around and yells, where's the rest of the team? with her toes completly submerged and the glue over the arch of her ballet dancer's feet, she knows she is trapped, and the vapors are making her woozy, she fights for balance...if she falls , there will be no getting up..... Misty, an athletic lanky blonde in miniscule shorts with blue eyes and a ponytail, wanders the display hall. she notices a large rectangular tank with extensive rockpiles. a small plastic hose and valve is attached to a float on the inside edge of the giant aquarium. "I bet under those rocks would be a golden goldfish, yup, i bet'ch yas." Misty clambers into the aquarium and tries to take the rockwork apart. " There some strong kind of vinagar smell to the glue sticking these rocks together, pah! What a smell. " Misty sits down in the tank and reaches sideways. she pulls on various rocks along the rear tank wall, but the glue is too strong, Misty can't break the rubbery grip. she finds a small loose, stone, a rounded black river cobble and hammers the suspect rockpile. then she loses her grip and the stone flies from her hand to smack into the E-Z Kare Corp. automatic aquarium filler and water level maintainer. Water begins coming into the tank ant a very slow rate, a thin stream. the valve was knocked to the setting for topping up the tank's water level. Misty tries to get up. but she has placed her butt, the backs of her thighs and the backs of her calves, even her heels into the transparent silicone sealer, and now was fast stuck to the glass bottom of the 350 gallon tank. apparently some of the silicone sealer has infiltrated her shorts as well. " Help! I'm stuck, i'm fused to the glass, the tank's filling ,help me. Help me!. Misty pulls with her hands, but her legs don't budge, they remained with the muscles semi flattened out on the glue covered glass, tight bonded to clean glass. Misty puts her elbows and forearms up, but the glass sides are over her head. A fan was on, blowing air to speed the drying of the rockwork silicone sealer, making the stuff extra tacky when Misty placed her heart shaped butt in it. Misty could not find a rock to break the glass with, all that were in reach were too firmly stuck down, just like her. Misty realized that if she did not win free of the grip which held her, she was going to be an aquarium decoration herself. she sceamed more, the sound reverberating in her ears from the tank walls. The thin stream of water continued, making an innocent tinkle as it hit the half inch deep water. Misty bucked and pulled. " Oh if only my legs didn't have flaring muscles im my calves and thighs, it just provided more surface area for this weird vinagar glue stuff to lay ahold of me. With all the strength I thought my legs had, none the less I am helpless like a roach in a trap." The cool water lapped in a friendly manner around her feet and legs and across the back of her butt. Misty pulled at her thighs, and tried to free her legs with her hands, but it was too late, she was set in the tank just like any other piece of rockwork or decoration, set in permanently. The harsh halide lighting beat down on her like tropical sun. The stench of the silicone cement filled her nostrils, almost making her swoon. Her muscles tensed and jerked in panic. " Get me otta here!, " she screamed several times. But the water continued to slowly fill the tank, quite indifferent to her frantic yankings and desperate struggles. Sweat flecked her mouth and she tasted her own salt. The water had just covered her legs and only the tips of her toes, with the bright green paint stuck above the water at the end of the tank. A toe ring winked silver at her. The water circled her toes, which made small concentric ripples in the water surface as Misty continued to fight the hand fate had dealt her. Her small fists beat at the thick tempered glass uselessly. Her hands repeatedly gripped the top edge of the tank, she tried to pull herself up, but her butt and backs of her legs, even her heels were stuck, she could stretch a half inch and then reached the limit of motion allowed by the silicone cement's grasp. " My God, I'll save you Misty, " yelled Pam. She charged across the display hall and was brought up short as her foot jammed itself doen the round drain hole in the center of the room. A coat hanger with debris on it and the screen for the drain were right beside it. some jerk did put the scren back on. Pam cursed, and Misty cried. Painfully, Pam's foot was jammed deeply in the hole to over her ankle. Wedged securely, Pam could not free herself, no matter how she struggled in her brief demin miniskirt. Her long brown hair was flung back as she leaned away from the hole. Trapped, Pam saw the slowly rising water reach Misty's waist. Misty, stuck in the aquarium, looked at the red skin around where the drain hole surrounded the leg of her friend. She saw the repeated flexings of the muscles, and knew her friend would never get free to save her. she cried, and wished she had never gone on the scavenger hunt. And the EZ-Kare device went about its job of filling the aquarium quite indifferent to the stuck girl and her tears. On the wall was a wooden sign that was dust covered and faded, it read, " Gone fishing."
